Walk along the long white sands enjoying a cooling breeze, swim, snorkel in the warm Indian Ocean, watch whales and dolphins, visit the coral gardens and get to know the wonderful people; it all makes for an amazing unforgettable holiday experience.

But, although there is always a smile on their faces, the daily life of local Kenyans is a constant struggle against poverty.

• Most schools lack basic resources such as tables, chairs and books.  

• Exams are in English - their 3rd Language.

• Ancillary education costs of uniforms, meals, shoes etc.must be found from an irregular income of less than £2 a day.
